Why I’m Not Going To Blog Anymore
If you’ve been reading this blog for any length of time, you know that my desire is to help people “walk closer with God and live better in life.” I’ve been writing books for that purpose for 46 years, and have been writing this blog for that purpose since 2015. However, the Lord has been impressing on me for some time that I need to expand my method of delivering the message He’s given me.
To that end, while I’ll stay in touch with you here, I’ll be taking the month of December off from my regular blog content in order to finish preparations to begin a YouTube ministry next year in place of blogging. I’ll be able to offer more and better biblical and spiritual help in a video format than by blogging.
I believe the clearer the picture is of where we want to go in our Christian life, the more successful we will be in getting there. Just in the last few years, my own grasp of the big picture of the Christian life has come together significantly, giving me encouraging spiritual growth and confidence myself, as well as a greater base of biblical truth to share with others.
While still aiming toward the targeted purpose of helping Christians walk closer with God and live better in life, taking that message to a video format on YouTube not only gives me the ability to give you more content and connect with you more, but will give you the ability to watch, or listen to, the recording at convenient times in your busy lives, maximizing the opportunity of actually hearing the message – since you can’t read while driving, or waking in the park or on the treadmill, or washing the dishes, or… you get the idea. I hope you’ll find the new video format a rich resource in your Christian walk.
There are still lots of “moving parts” to get in place and, if you’re so inclined, I’d greatly value your prayers.

In the meantime, while I’m getting the YouTube channel ready, all of the past blog posts are still available – and you know that “repetition is the key to mental ownership!”

I look forward to seeing all of you on my new YouTube channel in 2024 to further discuss how to walk closer with God and live better in life.
